Yoga is a 5000 year-old scientifically based system of well-being. Yoga and exercise can actually work to slow down or reverse the aging process. With the practice of Hatha yoga the body becomes strong and supple; the mind becomes calm. When your mind is calm, you can increase clarity, perspective, and peacefulness.

Start your day with a dynamic and loving class that integrates Hatha, Pranayama, meditation, and relaxation; all the while absorbing the beauty of the ocean. The class is designed to simultaneously accommodate all levels of "yogis" from beginners to regular practitioners. The class format will vary daily according to the level of the group. It will range from a gentle, soothing class to a more powerful athletic class; often having aspects of both of these.
Your Benefits
You will have fun as you are gently challenged to learn about your current levels of strength, flexibility, self-awareness, and concentration. Upon getting to know these current levels, you will learn techniques to move beyond and improve. Humor, presence, posture, and balance will also be cultivated.
Location of Classes
In Poipu- Drive along Poipu Road, find the Sheraton Kauai sign (Kapili Road), turn towards the ocean onto Kapili Rd. Go one block, turn left on Hoonani Road. Pass the Sheraton. Continue to the end of the road and park. Classes are held on The Sheraton Kauai Resort Property, on the grass near the oceanfront pool!
During rainy days, please meet teacher by pool side activity desk and class will be moved to a meeting room. In the rare event all meeting rooms are booked. Class may be cancelled on rainy days, though teacher will not know until class time, so show up if near by resort!
Classes are subject to change or cancellation.
